A quick guide to the natural treasures of Praslin:

Praslin is the second largest island of Seychelles. The island is about 12 km long and 5 km wide.

One of the real treats of visiting Praslin is experiencing its tropical unique environment including the worlds smallest UNESCO world heritage, the Valle de Mai.

 Explore this natural park and discover the symbol of the Seychelles, the Coco de Mer, the giant palm tree and itīs secret.

Situated about 40 km from Mahe with around 6.000 inhabitants,

Praslin offers a great variety of astonishing beaches, all surrounded by fascinating granite formations.

Choose between the popular beaches of Cote dīDor or Anse Volbert or take a trip to the northwest coast

and relax at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world – Anse Lazio.

Make sure to have your camera and snorkel equipment ready! Do not forget a T-Shirt and sunscreen!

Snorkeling requires only a mask, snorkel fins and a safety vest.
